Summit Canine Physio was founded in 2023 by Bailey Patterson. Bailey graduated from the University of Alberta in 2018 with her Master of Science in Physical Therapy. She is currently working on completing her Diploma in Canine Rehabilitation through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association - a diploma program exclusively offered to licensed physiotherapists.

Bailey has been a dog lover throughout her life. She wanted to expand her skills as a physiotherapist and branched into dog world after seeing the need for canine rehabilitation services. She has spent a lot of time surrounded by high level agility competitors such as Jessica Patterson and Justine Davenport of Shape Up Dogs, which allowed her to see the need for treatment services for canine athletes.

Summit Canine Physio was born and named to honour one of Bailey’s favourite agility dogs who has since passed away, Summit.
